This magazine front cover stands out to me the most because of all the different colours and images. This magazine front cover is divided into 4. To me it seems like 4 different cultures. I can see people, buildings and animals.
In the centre of the front cover their is a face of a lady which is divided into 4. The top left and bottom right are two different shades of blue and the top right and bottom left are two different shades of brown.
The image in the top left has a lady with a red flower in her hair and a red bush with red flowers growing from it, their is also a brown shelter in the background. I think this is a warm country like Jamacia.
The image in the top right has some blue buildings and also has the face of a lady init. To the right of that image their is a fancy design of a white bird with red flowers around it. Which is in contrast to the blue backgroung it is against. To the left of the image their is a red lantern with writing on it. I think this is an image to make u think of chine hence the lady and the chinese eriting on the lantern.
In the bottom right their is a lady who is wearing clothing with a pattern on it, she is wearing a matching head scarf. She is carrying a pot on her head and their is a zebra on the left side of the image. This image makes me think of africa.
The image in the bottom left looks a lot simpler than all the other images. I can see water and some kind of boat floating on top of it. In the background i can see mountains.
On that same image it says 'understanding other cultures, understanding ourselves: Anthropology and the legacy of Margaret Mead '23'.
Overall from looking at this cover i think that it is about culture hence four different images and the sentance, understanding other cultures, understanding ourselves.
